Description: When the players health reaches 0 they may or may not get a burst of health and stamina to push through a hoard or last enemy. health boost lasts until they find medical equipment, if that cant, they die.

Notes: A persons will to live is pushing through in their final moments

Assuming this mod gets "scary" just right, and already has you in a jumpy state, i would really like to see ammunition as a key gameplay mechanic. left 4 dead, and other games always gave you as much ammo as you needed. even the addition of a host of melee elements doesnt help much as long as you can still hold on to way too much ammunition. go look at the wieghts of rounds and apporximate how many you would actually be able to carry in a survival situation (assuming you would need food/water/etc.) running out of ammo in a hot spot and having to ditch a weapon and either run or fight with melee is a great surprise event. I assume it wouldnt be like this in barricade game-modes, where ammo would be a local convenience within your defenses, but even then having to choose and send out scouting parties past the barricade to collect ammo would be interesting too. hope that makes sense (seriously, standard 9mm is till pretty bulky ammunition, and you would choose survival gear over bullets). its just a touch of realism.

-also, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ADDING BARRICADING. NO ONE HAS EVER DONE IT RIGHT. to hide and fight them off with the added stress of looking after your defenses. hope you pull it off.

you know, if you held pistols that way, the shell ejection opening would be on the same side for both guns, they wouldn't be opposites.

always thought it would be cool if when two people grabbed a mine, you could send a shock through the grapple beam and hurt the other person.

the resonance cascade was in hl1, but this mod takes places at EXACTLY the same time. so you land maybe as gordon gets off the tram.
