That might be a good one for SupCom2 should I ever get it.

The only folder you should have in your "localdisc(C)/programfiles/THQ/GPG/SCFA/MAP" is "Helens_v1_SLi-Fox" folder and not the zip file. Also, if you've patched past 1.5.3599, it won't run. GPG keeps changing things around everytime they release a patch and the tools available for creating maps aren't keeping up. If you want to play my maps, I would suggest re-installing the game and patching it up to 1.5.3599.
Awesome. I was wondering if anybody would pick up where I left off. I sure you're doing a great job. Keep it up!
40x40...It'll take some time, but I'll do it. I'll have to create it from scratch because I'll be able to get more detail into the coastlines.
I've just uploaded a map called, 'Mars-Mining Sector Alpha.' I hope you enjoy it!
In reality, the islands are very mountainous. I create the islands flat for this map. And Thanks for the comments!
I'm also running Windows XP Professional 32-bit. (I know, waiting for 64-bit Windows 7.)
I played the map last night and it took me about 5 hours to beat it. I'm not the greatest player, but it should work.
I just want to make sure you have Supreme Commander Forged Alliance patched up to version 1.5.3599. If not, you can find the patch you need at the following address:
Supremecommander.gamefront.com
If you do, try creating a folder like the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\Games\My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander Forged Alliance\Maps
If that doesn't work, is your system beefy enough? For instance, I'm running the following hardware on my system:
eVGA 780i
Intel Q9650
4gb RAM
Nvidia 8800GTX (dual monitor)
I hope this helps you and if it does, let me know! Good luck!
I just uploaded some screenshots. Check my profile.
Join ModDb and make some comments! Besides the 'out of place' rocks, Make a suggestion and I'll see what I can do!
v2.0 just posted
I'm running behind on the map. A friend is visiting from Hawaii. Ughh...I'm really hung-over today.
Islands 2.0 test shots posted on my profile ( SLi-Fox ).
Check out the video that I just uploaded!
I'm making some good progress. I revamped the north and south Base islands last night which took about 4 hours. And, while at work (full 12hr shifts mind you), I found a marker editor created by HazardX that should solve the AI problem of not doing a whole lot on the map.
I'll have a 40x40 along with an improved 80x80 by April 22.
SLi-Fox
Ben joined
SLi-Fox (Ben) first started messing with the innards of games in 1995 with his Apple PowerMac 6100/66 with the game 'Escape Velocity by Ambrosia.' He joined the Navy as a FireControlman CIWS Tech and enjoyed messing with the innards of multi-million dollar hardware and of course blowing S#!T up. He couldn't do much on his Apple PowerBook G3 at that time. He soon got out and pick up a crappy Sony Vaio desktop (Bloated with Crapware and hardware that was barely upgradable) and got back into games. With the construction of a homebuilt PC (eVGA 780i w/ Q9650 etc...), SLi-Fox has resumed modding, but as of late has been very distracted.
