Nightmare House 2

Mod review

After playing Nightmare House, I was pretty skeptical of this sequel. Because to be frank, the first one was... bad.. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that a silly little map transformed into such a well balanced and terrifying game (It's almost worth it to play the 1st one just to see the improvements). The weapons, levels, and enemies are all unique; So you don't really feel like you're playing a Half-Life mod. It has puzzles, creative cut-scenes, and yes, a story! And all of those things come together as one of the scariest games I've ever experienced. Seriously, looking back at some of the games best moments, I'm surprised I was able to play this alone in my dark room. It's not just "jump scares" too, this game is genuinely creepy and very disturbing. So if you're skiddish you may need to invest in some new underwear after playing this. I can't give this a perfect score though because the ending is abrupt and I found the gameplay to be a little too easy (The hardest part is mustering up the courage to keep moving :D ). But overall, this is a very good game. I'd even be willing to pay $20 for it. It's completely free though, so what are you waiting for!
