This was actually just a basic map I made a while back for Counter Strike: Source, called hit_the_floor; nothing special, just a lighting test as a matter of fact.

That is so atmospheric, I can just feel it. If oblivion online ever gets finished, this should be a #1 hit.
Ok...OK. This is just too much. That's so epic in scale...
If this is undedited...I am in shock - I am guessing it's raw; this is one release that should cause Oblivion to go platinum all over again.
Awe...just makes me feel like I'm right there with the breeze blowing on my freezing face...and it gives me the urge to make for that muntain in the distance...
My gods, this could open up a whole new community for the game - and revive the old one, incredible work.
Hurray, a reason to keep JC2 installed. I can only imagine the wonders that will improve the core game coming from the mod community.
Really nice looking textures man, great job.
Holy...I guess I loaded the page before your comment showed up, and wrote mine at the same time - no copyright theft intended :P.
I really like the piece, it has a catchy Nostalgia bringing me back to some really good old-school RPG's from the late 90's and early 2000's - unconventional and easy to listen to over again; great work.
P.S. Even some basic background chords or strings could make it even better, it might give off a slightly more pro feeling to many players.
Oohhhh! Beautiful yet so haunting. I can just imagine the results of straying from the road...the groans...the...eyes...0_0.
Wow! Epic. I can just imagine breathing deeply while taking in the view while standing at the riverbank, yet knowing that between me and the mountains lies a misty swamp full of unimaginable terror. Extreme Kudos!
I can just imagine thinking "I'm a long way from the base, I've only a few shells left in my rifle, out of rations completely, and the sun's almost down. I'm totally screwed." Atmospheric beyond belief guys, fantastic job.
This shot clearly demonstrates the better lighting techniques, great job!
The distant terrain gives the world a much more vast and awe-inspiring feeling, this really should have been what the original release was like.
This is pretty incredible, right out of a Steven King novel or something, and it bleeds atmosphere...
Congrats!
Nice work, I especially like the detail on the longsword - and the frigate looks very true to the original design. This will be pretty epic when it's done.

Cryengine? This rocks, so atmospheric.
Really good...though I wasfalling about laughing a lot of the time at the unexpected zombie vocals.
Great backdrop, it really gives that feeling of being part of a much vaster and perhaps more epic in scale, world.
I don't know if that would serve to be a good aspect of NH2, seeing as the basic concept of the mod at it's very heart is "psychological horror", rather than waves and waves upon end of monsters [more suited to co-op], I feel co-op might steal the atmosphere away as having someone watching your back changes the sense completely.
Wow, very moody indeed - right up my alley. I'd really like to see a dark fantasy world in Oblivion, it could really open up a new corridor of fantastical emotions for even seasoned Elder Scrolls players...
Hells, I really wish they released this in physical format, I'd love to own a box - seeing as the game itself blew me away.
I think S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is not fun in an incredible way, personally - in the sense that it's not the "Fun" factor that keeps me going, it's the attatchment to both the world and the survival - the edginess and the tension, the rewards and the downfalls - it's all part of the picture. But yeah if you translate fun to be these things - than yeah it's the best ever made.
Yeah, I think that's part of making it look stylized - rather than just making you feel like your in the throat of some grotesque monster...
It looks simply photo - realistic, in an awesome sci-fi movie like way; incredibly - and buying before reviews come out.
Freakiest level ever. Has a very distinctive film-noir feel to it.
He used to be a donut cop, got what he had coming to him.
