Is this a result of Call of Chernobyl or a problem with Arsenal overhaul? That's important, as I'm trying to decide now whether or not to use COC. Maybe I shouldn't. Does one-shot happen on even the easiest difficulty level?

I have to assume something bad has happened, as we haven't heard anything at all, even a "I've shuttered the project, lost interest." Not sure what exactly that bad something is, but I assume it's fairly dire. It's been a long time now.

I don't think it's appropriate to call him lazy. We don't own him, and anyone who made SMRTER .41 is simply not lazy. For all we know, he may have even died. Or just decided to, you know, do something more important than a game. That's all this is, it's a game, and he's not getting paid, so we're lucky we saw anything from him at all.
That being said, I am interested in the extra areas proposed in .45, and not really interested in game enhancements. If I had to choose one or the other, I'd choose the extended extra areas hands down... I just want to explore and see new things from the Stalker universe. I wonder if it would shave time off the release if he concentrated on the extra areas? We've seen countless mods with "realism" modifications, but one with this many extra areas?
