Just because I'm old and now no good at most games doesn't mean you should make the experience worse. Someday you'll be old too.

Too many games, not enough time

SirCulluvlyph Blog

I used to lament regarding books that there were too many to read and not enough time. That lament still holds and also applies to music, to videos, to "must-see" TV and movies and now to computer games especially with the Indie scene exploding.

A person could truly devote a life pursuing nothing but computer games to which many would say what a waste of a life but how is this any different from, say, a person devoting their life to a monastery or any other focused endeavor?

I would contend that a life playing games is no more wasted than a life watching (and reviewing films) or spent in prayer. It is a passion, a focus of life for a person and that should be acceptable and accepted.

Yes, I'm trying to justify my life...next game please.
