That's a known bug ... the battle camera is being worked on.

Overgrow is the only ability in the game atm since it is still in Alpha 0.15(In name only , it doesn't actually work...it's more like a space holder) and the random crashes happen to you only , i used it a bunch of times didn't crash once.
