but seriously.. we are incorporating many different styles of play. you will beable to play straight forward chess, or choose from many different playing styles, and game modes.

Vino and I are discussing porting hlc to the new half-life 2 engine. If you feel this would be a good idea, please give us some feedback, and chat with us on irc :)

we are still alive! Vino and I are just working our tails off trying to get a beta release ready to send out. Don't worry, We are making really great progress.

The only thing really holding us back is the lack of models. Once we get that problem solved; the first beta will be released with a few chess sets already pre-scripted for your chess playing enjoyment. :)

Please note that this level is only an alpha... RAD was not run on this level.. so the lighting is awfull.. and i plan on changing a few things.. :D

Hey Guys/Gals.,
I was wondering if I could get some feedback... I am one of the mappers for this Mod. and I know there is only so many ways you can create a chess board.. I was wondering if you had an ideas/themes a few other maps could be... the only map that we have so far is the one in the screenshots.... so i think if this mod is to become successfull then we need a variety in levels... Any comments would be great
