We are thinking of renaming this mod, to something more simple.
Something like, Viral.
We're sick of being in, or feeling in competition. We are not in competition with anyone, we just want to make our own thing in peace. We are very private developers, so we won't be showing lots of things to the public. Please be patient.
As for the zombies, yeah sorry. I couldnt find your email address to contact you. We will provide credit for you, and for anyone who made this mod possible. We aim to release this fall.
No we are not. The textures u see are from authors that are NOT from the coldblood team. Authors such as Meta, whiteblazer, relic25 and undules are NOT from the coldblood team. We will be asking permission from these guys.

The PDA works with a long number of multi managers, that target specfic func_wall_toggles, env fades and a trigger_camera, along with sounds that are linked with the same names at different times. Similar to Metal Gear Solid, except the faces won't have mouths moving, just scan lines going up and down. We've had to make loads of animated textures, particulary for the lab areas to make the environment feel alive, and not of a stationary sort.
We have also down a number of voice work, and adding scripted sentences to the NPCS. It works out really well. We have also made a number of reskins of existing models, and are now working on animated fogging for the sky ( A func conveyor style one, with a custom transparent texture- similar to the one seen in one of Unreal Tournament's latter levels. A lot of influence from many games has made an appearance throughout the development of the mod, along with some of our own ideas. We almost have the full story set out, and a number of surprising twists and interesting gameplay is to be expected upon the release, in 2007.
Our intro segment, we believe is particulary impressive. (avoiding arragonce) We are also using most of the soundtrack from Resident Evil 3. Though the concept and story is completly original, we are still maintaining some nostalgia from past Resident Evil games.
The mod is mainly focussed on the single player campaign, but a multiplayer version may be made upon the release. We have a basic co-op version already, but some things dont work with more than one player (Trigger_camera). As you will see in this mod, we have used cutscenes heavily, and carefully scripted events to fully immerse the player into our virtual world.
This map gives me a headache..
No.. the team are scrapping weapon models, are are working on a first person (without modelled gun) with a HUD very similar to Resident Evil Survivor
I was asked to leave the infection team a while ago, and the new leader of the mod is now Death_Vapour, who will be taking over the mapping, modelling, and some voice work.
Reason for which i was asked to leave is because I could never keep up with the deadlines, and I was too slow :(

All CZ models you may have seen are replaced now. Besides, I have been asked to leave the team, and a guy called Death Vapour has taken over.

Just a quick note to say that this mod is NOT dead! It has been in development for quite a while now, and we have a big chunk of the storyline done. We are using complex entity systems, and realistic detail throughout. Expect gorgeous, detailed textures, and claustrophobic corridors, as well as an engaging and wreckless gameplay.
Release date : 10th of June, 2007.
After releasing this mod, we will release a co-operative version with tinkered gameplay.
