After I figured out how to force quake 4 to custom 4k resolution i saw a noticeable difference with the mod. It's much nicer and cleaner looking for 4k! Thank you =-)

Doom the way it should be!

The mod is awesome on gzdoom 2.2 final with blood set to overdrawn (highest option). Fast paced, gore galore, a new map pack (for me since I never owned the original doom 64), and works with any doom 2 wad.

And add to that, the author shares his work for free. Great job!

And there are always going to be haters, and to them I say.... upload your own mod and link it to me if any of you think you can do better. Otherwise, stfu =-O

WOW! I've been using the x8 sprite file (doomHDv03) for the past couple of years and decided to come back and see what succeeded it. And when I saw x16 up and tried it............ DAAAAAAAAAAMN BRO! 16 is much better than 8 lol!

The author(s) of this outdid themselves. Thanks for sharing this! Makes all the difference in the world to me. And I sincerely hope support for this will continue this year and beyond. Works flawless with brutal doom 20B :-)

This is a brief review for Doom One 0.4.1 full beta. I find this 'telling' of ultimate doom brilliant! I've never had such an impressive doom experience as the one I had with Doom One. The author of this mod has a creative strategy that's second to none. This mod is an art. A masterpiece in fact.

I rate this a well deserved 10 out of 10. I personally launched this on GZdoom 2.1 & it even ran surprisingly fine with a half dozen 2015/2016 mods for me! I don't use a whole echo system of mods (just a half dozen) so I only speak on my own behalf. And Doom One is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
