I own and operate a tiny two person game studio called Phanatix Interactive. I'm currently developing an Android/iOS game called "Swift". Although I started out in games as a 3d artist, I'm now mostly a designer and programmer. Funny how things work out like that.

I just recently stumbled across IndieDB, and I have to wonder: where has this site BEEN all my life?! There's so many awesome games in the making I never would have otherwise known about! And what a great place to promote my own stuff! Better late than never, I suppose.

Although I've been making games professionally for many years (mostly children's Nintendo DS games), I've only recently wandered down the road of indie development. I used to do mostly 3d modeling, then got promoted to be a game designer, and when the studio I was working for collapsed into oblivion, I decided it was time to do my own thing... which sentenced me to learn the black art of programming. So here I am--artist turned programmer--managing my own game company and doing all sorts of things I didn't think I was capable of doing not less than 2 years ago. Fate works in strange ways.

I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who had a look at our shiny new game profile page. I was really surprised by the number of visitors it got on its first day of existence! It really helps to keep one motivated on a project when you know people are looking at it. :)
