This took me a while to figure out too, but here's what you do.

1. (assuming you start with no mods installed, as if you just downloaded it with steam) You copy/paste all the files in your "steamapps/common/arma 2" directory, into your "steamapps/common/arma 2 operation arrowhead" directory. (this way you have the original arma 2 files still in the original directory as backup)
2. Put your mod files into the "steamapps/common/arma 2 operation arrowhead" directory, just like you had them, only in Operation Arrowhead.
3. Your pretty much done now, so start Operation Arrowhead up (NOT COMBINED OPS) and when you get to the main menu, go to expansions, then select your mods (@I44CO, @CBA, ALSO CHECK ARMA 2). Then the game will restart, running the mods, and will continue to run the mods at startup until you change the expansions list again.
You can also edit the steam properties for Operation Arrowhead to run the mods at startup if you like, but I didn't tell the steps to do that because I explained a simpler way to do the same thing. There are other things that can be done with the steam game properties; however, such as, getting rid of the startup logos.
Anyways I hope this helped and that you will have no more problems, if you do; however, just say so. :)
I have now said this 3 times on this mod's comment areas, so people should not have too much trouble now :D

I did everything exactly as the instructions said but when I start up Combined Ops, the mods that should be in the expansions menu aren't there.
I didn't merge the Arma 2 and OA. Should I merge them?

Ok... how do u install all this and get it to work? I've tried doing exactly what the installer instructions say but it doesn't work. Could you make a video or a tutorial or something?

You could get it off of steam. It's like 10 dollars(U.S. dollars that is)

Ok, you probably haven't patched BF2 to 1.41 and then to 1.5. Sometimes when BF2 installs it doesn't automatically patch to 1.41 so then you cant do 1.5 and then PR won't work and this also usually causes BF2 to not work. So try that and maybe that'll do the trick. Also if you have a disk of the game, the 1.41 patch is on the disk. Just go through a couple of folders and you'll find it.

well people will figure out what things are as they play so doing that would probably be a waste of too much work, but nice idea.

yeah, in the image it says AH-1, but in the image label on moddb it says Apache AH-64A/D. So they got it right they just havent bothered with changing the actual name in the image.

yeah thats true, but it really is pretty good accuracy in BF2:PR even from the hip shooting I can hit 50-100m targets...you just have to wait a while.

This is but a couple of things that is different about PR that neither ACE2 nor ARMA2 has Youtube.com
My Prediction: PR:ARMA2 will kick ACE2's butt!

I personally think that you won't want A.C.E. 2 anymore after this comes out cuz I'm pretty sure the things PR will add will be of much higher quality, lol.

Not mine, and mine is only a Nvidia 9800 GT (no GTX). It runs Arma 2 perfectly fine.

That is not Steam creating the problems cuz my friend's BF2 with PR works just like mine(I have the retail DVD version).
It installed automatically (to the right spot in Steam) and there where no probs whatsoever, so I don't see why this wouldn't work the same way for ARMA 2.

I also hope that it gets more people playing in one server cuz when I got Arma 2 I was hoping to see like 50vs50 PvsP, not 20vs40 PvsAI

There are seperate dev teams for each mod/game so they are definitly going to please the fans...they always do, lol.

Well, the normal Arma 2 still lacks certain things in realism, so I'm sure they'll fix those, but the main thing is that they will improve the gameplay ALOT.

Well this is the 2md ARMA so VOIP is built in. They will probably do something with it to make it even better though.

I'm guessing that they will just because the devs are always freakin awesome for PR. They ACTUALLY listen to the fans, lol.

Yes, of course it will run on a laptop. Laptops are the same as desktops just smaller, and cheaper, and heat up much more.
