i know the night sky looks unrealistic (it was taken from skyrim) it looked normal in skyrim because of the northern lights and fog...good or bad? i can edit it to be less black.
they look even better up close

I can't wait for this, that looks really nice! There's one thing though... I hope it won't be like that with your texures, but when I got a sand texture into BF2, it looked really weird when moving the camera, it got grainy and fuzzy-like. Maybe a shader re-compilation would work... We'll see :D
yes i know about that i tested all textures and only 1 of them do that but its not used very much so it's okay.
