No, UDK is the Unreal Development Kit. The Unreal Engine is basically used for LOTS and lots of the games you maybe play already. It is the most complete and commonly used modern toolset for making high end games. Of course the Unreal series of games, the Unreal Tournament series of games, Gears or War 1 & 2 , the Splinter Cell games, Deus Ex games, Thief 3,Batman Arkham Asylum, etc. Epic released the UDK for free to anybody who wants to use to for making games using the same tools as the big companies (EA, ubisoft, etc).
Vampire: Bloodlines uses the oldest version of Valve's obsolete Source engine, for example. Troika did not come up with the technology themselves.

This looks pretty fantastic! Good work. I've yet to download and play it, but the video is compelling. I've been doing a little preliminary work on remaking the Bloodlines hub levels over in the UDK. Remaking all those art assets takes a lot of time, but will look SOOO much better in a more modern technology.

Hey there! I think you're SSAO looks a lot more like bloom than AO. I think that if properly implemented, SSAO really could vastly improve the look of Bloodlines. As it stands this just seems to be muddying up the display.
I'm a 3D Artist myself, so if you need any help retexturing I'd be glad to lend a hand. I can also obviously model & texture any new props or characters.

Thanks for your comments guys. I've been busy looking for work, so I haven't gotten back to Enterprise:TCW much, but just wait till he's done. I've got some stuff cooking that looks pretty good I think.
