The one that makes it into the release build will have the turrets! We have to split the models up internally, and I just didn't make this render with the turreted version.

The new CAS is just a model update to allow us to keep parity with Sins' now increased graphical capabilities. The CAS you have now is the same stat wise, so the only thing different is again, the art asset. Note: this new asset will change nothing on the OAS.
Post 1.0, SotP will split into two eras: wartime and post war. The Autumn will be a mainstay of the post war UNSC faction, but before that, the Autumn will remain a thing of the past (future?).
Can you tell me some more details about the issue? What planet, how far in to the game, etc. Anything you can think of.

This is a known bug, and we are trying to fix. You can circumvent it by disabling the mod, launching multiplayer, then exiting and renabling the mod. It should work fine then.
The Halo narrative/canon is what has driven SotP for years, every ship revealed, detail published, we scrutinize it all and see if it applies to Sins of the Prophets. Canon has been at the core of what we do, and we don't like to break it if we can avoid doing so (of course, we cant always do this). Thus, as the Halo narrative evolves, we want to evolve with it; bringing the new worlds and experiences you see in the games and books as they are released, to life in the unique way Sins allows. We want you to see the epic battles, the titanic vessels, and all the Halo universe has to offer. Fanon has it's merits, without doubt; but in most cases, this one especially (which concerns an entire faction) the Canon is a better rule of thumb.

To put it plainly, no. We don't want to put our code out into a position where people could easily take from it and dice it up.
We are working to release another compatibility patch, this time for Sins V1.85, hold tight and expect it sometime in the next couple days.
