I joined tier 2 from his patreon page yesterday. Downloaded the assets from his download section. He's got fully working models of the Imp, Sawyer and Pinky. I tried them yesterday, along with my build of "Doom 3 BFG: UltimateHD" and "RBDOOM-3-BFG 1.4.0", as well as some other minor improvements like no gibbing of any creature and stuff... I basically just replaced the stuff from the "UltimateHD" folder with his stuff, and 99% worked perfectly.

I gotta tell you, the monsters are amazing. Beautiful work he's done. Day and night compared to the original models. The imp is such a recurrent monster that you encounter all the time, it really changes the experience. Imagine having every monster replaced. Just yummy.

The weapons look awesome too. But I couldn't replace them fully correctly, only the pov models look good. The ones you encounter in the map are ****** up. I'll have to check how to replace them properly...

Beautiful work!! Best texture mod hands down. Together with "RBDOOM-3-BFG 1.4", no gibbing of anything, and also the models from "Scary Monsters DOOM 3 Re-done" (patreon assets), the experience it's so ******* awesome. I'm loving it.

Thanks for all the hard and outstanding work!! The game looks absolutely beautiful now. It's such a treat to get to play it like this 😍 Specially because I'm one of those dudes that remember what it looked like when it came out!

Thanks for this, I ended up using only a segment of the script and it works perfectly with UltimateHD and RBDOOM-3-BFG. So happy or it. For those of you who might be wondering too (just corpses), here it is:

Look for "ai_monster_base.script" in the scripts folder inside UltimateHD. Open the same file from this mod.
Go to line "monster_base::state_Dead".
Replace he entire section with the one from this mod. Change the sys.wait (54) for the number of your choosing. I've set mine to 50000, so it's like 13h.

Done, no more vanishing to hell. So far in my gameplay nothing breaks. It works flawlessly.

And if you want to prevent weapons from "gibbing" after two shots, you can easily change that too. Go to every weapon.def inside the UltimateHD, "def" folder, example "weapon_chainsaw.def". Then search for "gib" and set all of them to 0. That's it, no more vanishing of any creature in the game for the most part. I encountered one exception where the door closing made a soldier corpse gib. And also the semi-alive corpses do gib after shooting them. But I'm sure there's a "gib" option somewhere, I'll look into it and post it here again.
