We actually do have plans for achievements and such with our statistics system -- the capability IS there now, we just need someone to put in the work for it.

We actually found a bug regarding sound mixing for this -- I'm working on fixing it at this moment, then there should be no more issues with performance on Windows platforms with WGL.
Meanwhile, we're actually going to switch over the launcher to SDL input... no longer will it be WGL.. this will help many people with their performance issues.

Hmm, do you think you can go to the forums and provide more information there? I'm sure we can much better help you on the forums (forums.xonotic.org) than just me replying here.
e.g. do you have this problem with any other opengl games on desura? What version of Windows are you using? etc etc etc.

Perhaps it's a problem with your router? The servers SHOULD work fine, as our master servers are up and we have about 35 public servers available to play on.

It's not really that impossible, I've seen a 10 year old do it without too long of time trying (Just bunny hop around the map as best as possible)
But the singleplayer IS quite early, so we will probably adjust this.

Yes, you can use game pads with this game -- Go to settings > input in the menu and you can set it up there.
