Awesome! Getting hyped
Is this an updated model, with textures up to par? Can't really tell
Guys, if you have questions regarding technical details, please go to the official forums. The devs ALWAYS respond and are helpful!
When will this mod be uploaded to Steam Workshop. I have already created a thread for advertising it on the new HW Forums: Forums.gearboxsoftware.com
This is one of the best mods out there, and it needs to become more popular!
I'm very sorry to hear this, guys...I would love to see this project going faster but I wonder why did JCD and rausheim leave?
^nooooo! I think nothing would be creepier than the emptiness we saw in that video. No wrecked cars, no specific ruins, nothing. Just a ghost town which seems to have been quickly abandoned.
If I were you, I'd have lots of wind blow through the narrow alleyways towered by the immense walls. The alleyways should be in some sort of twilight because of the tall walls, and they should be empty. An occasional mutant should attack you from a kiosk or something, but the emptier this place, the better. Not even rats!
This should convey it a sense of mystery and impending doom, Creepy music should also be added. Best would be that from the second village you come across in FONV, which coincides with the Enclave theme from the FO2 game (remember the music from the oil rig?).
Silence, once again. Is there a dev tracker somewhere? Something like, a list of features and their current state. I think it would be helpful and it would also save you guys some time from posting long, arduous stuff.
So it's not about the original Teuton knights?
^isn't it teutOnian?
Wow...just...wow
These cartoon textures look kinda awesome to be honest...but I'll stick to the HD ones after my first playthrough
will this also be available in HD textures?
^oooooh yeah, this will turn out very good - i guess it's your augmented brain responsible for all this deliciousness :D
You just HAD to do the DX stuff, hadn't you? Hehe, as the two above me said, great detail put into this, it did take a lot of effort, but the feel is fantastic.
I dunno, the vanilla games didn't really feel like wastelands. Not enough ruins, not enough damage, I dunno, something was amiss. The first one was primarily a mess, just like the aftermath of a huge earthquake followed by a fukushima-style explosion, and the second one was what you would pretty much expect from a desert really. The settlements looked like they had been through lots of war rather than after a nuclear fallout. That, or the fallout was REALLY recent. Not that old FO1-FO2 feel.
This, however, is pretty much how I picture a post-nuclear city. Gangs of savages hidden behind corners, punks selling drugs, and the occasional gunfight between different parties. Looks good, feels good.
I sure remember those ghouls and turrets. God damned, hard with that radiation kicking in too.
So, great news to hear thisll work with NV! You just made my day, lol!
The world was so vast in both that I can barely remember. Probably thought it was from FO3 because it had so much GREEN. That and the fact that I'm not from the USA xD
Is this from FO3? does this mean no more FO:NV?
The atmosphere in that second screenshot is damn great! Reminds me of Oblivion, but it has a much darker feeling to it...the calm before the storm.
Hmmm, this looks exciting. I still see a Deus Ex-y touch here and there. All that blasted concrete gives me the nostalgia...
Fighting over such rough terrain will be hard, I assume.
What are these? Orc warriors? They don't look THAT good, to be honest...
