First off, this mod is more or less dead, so there has been no update to fix Valve's Source updates. If you really want to play this, go find SMOD: Project Life, which has a fix for the broken mod, as well as instructions on how to set up said fix. If you really want, you can find the leaked beta of SMOD: Tactical 6, and figure out the fix yourself.

We can't get the source code. The_Author is a more or less unknown Japanese guy who has specifically stated that he will never release the source code.

Aight, the simple version is that the mod author quit work on Delta 6 after the mod beta was leaked. If you really want, you can find and download the leaked version and use various workarounds to get it to run properly.

Uhhh... there was a fix created. Also, Phatty was the original designer of SMOD:T, and he didn't want to put more work into a mod he chose to leave quite a while ago. Thus, he decided not to release said mod.
Finally, there are community patches out there! Go find them!

Ok, good to see that cleared up. I try to be as fair and polite as possible- sometimes I don't succeed. This would be an excellent example of failure, as well as me being egotistical.

I'm not demanding anything, I'm just stating that I think this mod sets some ambitious goals, and if those goals are accomplished, then it'll be great. However, as we all know, many, many mods die out or fail, and I'm refusing to put even a little faith in any mod without real progress to show to the public, be it your mod or any other mod I find here.
I'm not demanding content, and I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that I am from, I'm simply stating, yet again, that I think this is an interesting idea, but I don't know whether or not it's for real, or going to be good. I mean no offense to you as a team, or any individuals, these are just my feelings about most mods and dev teams.
Finally, my point about the internet was just that anger over criticism of work that you release, expecting comments, is rather unintelligent and a poor decision. I'm not trying to anger anyone here, just stating my viewpoint.

Also, to clarify- I meant that this mod, in my opinion, had potential, if there was some quantifiable evidence to show that work was progressing.
Also, I understood the story, and in my opinion, it's weak and poorly implemented.

If there was any proof of new "base" being created, and a less shite storyline, this could be a very cool mod.
