sorry, seem to have problem with installation... downloaded full installer one, run install... it put folder Aramda 3 not into 1.82 (current upgrade) but into 1.8 folder... so when i ran 1.82 it did not show the mod... i moved entire folder for Armada 3 to 1.82, enabled mod, pressed apply changes, it turned to screen with a cube, asked me to wait and in 30 sec produced memory dump/crash. tried it on 3 separate computers same results... i applied hotfix files, no difference... help please? can't wait to try this excellent mod..

thanks for the response. I think your solution for the factions was great and Borg as a stand alone entity is a great challenge as an AI. Had hours of fun trying to survive it:) thanks guys. now that nobody really cares of Birth of the Federation MP, discovery of SOA2 as a playable mp strategy game filled up a void somewhat.

question... in intro movie, there are 6 races, including cards and breen conf... no borg... is that the long term plan? btw, played a few games here, mod rocks

ok, figured it out... played mp in rebellion st mod... awesome... what can i say!

ok, so where is the directory i go to for rebelion moding? it is different from appdata/local/ironclad, right?

great advice... build a cloud of akiras, kept them back with a bunch of norways and intrepids, and then let the host of strike craft assist the souverens of combined fleet of feds and klingons beat back the borg... we also build a nest of 5 starbases at the star level and 2 at planets (one from kling, one from feds, two humans in the game) to establish a bridgehead and penetrate borg quadrant... what fun:)

just need some guidance here.. do i dare build nova and interpids ships to fight the borg? do i keep them all the way in the back? they seem to be assimilated right away... any guide on proper ship selection vs borg? i can only bring in akira as definite fodder for assimiliation... i usually keep a ton of them in the back of the planet to use their bombers for defence moving them around away from the battle...

dudes, been playing soa2 trinity ... man what a blast:) borg is totally awesome, we have teamed against it and have yet to defeat it without the help from ai.... any suggestsions on how to handle borg? can't build akiras - get stolen! :) at any rate, very very fun. thanks, guys

i was advised to play this game by a friend of mine. I usually play a ton of Birth of the Federation. in case u did not know, this in my biased opinion is the best star trek game but it has some serious flaws (stability in mp for one) ...I was told SOA mod is somewhat like botf but more stable... i generally play multiplayer. any body has any experience playing this mod in mp? do u do direct ip? is there a server? warzone? etc... am downloading the game atm can't wait to try it... any botf fans out here? :)
