So far its working awesome for me! This is by far the best ever Stalker experience. And I'm a veteran from the beginning. I love how you have to wait while you cut pieces off the mutants now. Its like, "oh crap, why didn't I wait till the coast was clear before looting these things, ahhhh"

So does Stiivais textures help at all or not?

Ok N.Aaroe, thanks. I just know that vanilla runs much better than misery, and attributed it to the textures. Maybe because of more complex processes? Anyway, will do more research to squeeze as much performance as I can. Thanks for the prompt reply.

hi guys, just a quick question. Is there a way to use the textures from the original vanilla game with the mod so users with lower end computers can run it better? I can run it, but the stutters are pretty bad. Or mabe there is a textures pack that's helps this.

Well, I tried to wait for final 2.1 to be released, but couldn't wait any longer to get back in the zone. All I can say so far is WOW! This is by far the best Stalker experience I've ever had. Thank you devs so much for your hard work!! Its amazing! Still learning how to use all the new features, and it just makes for a very realistic experience. You really have to prepare yourself when you decide to go out on a mission. Traveling along makes me nervous. You have to very aware of your surroundings, and every person you see makes you dive for cover just to find out who they are. Awesome! I could go on and on, but its time to get back to the zone. Thanks guys, give yourselves a big pat on the back, you all deserve it!!!

hmmm, I've went way past that with no ctd, soooo, just saying.

Thanks to the team for all their hard work. To be honest, I've only had 1ctd since 2.0. None with 2.0, one with 2.01, and so far none with 2.02. With 2.02, the mod is running much smoother. This is the best stalker experience I've ever had, and I'm an old vet to be sure. Thank you so much. Go celebrate and drink a beer.

Should we wait to play with patch 2.02, or can we play and simply apply the new upload? I started over as soon as it was released.

p.s. I LOVE this mod. Difficult and scary. The way a veteran should want it!
