In the final version, we have worked to ramp up the player more effectively so that you don't get stuck. Admittedly the ramp is somewhat steep, but you will be riding up the ramp on a jet-powered skateboard!

For those with install/pointer issues, some gamers suggested this:
If you're running Vista (which I assume you are), you need to right click the shortcut (or the .exe in the install folder) and "Run As Administrator.
