seems like your computer cant handle the mod try lowering the settings.

there are quests that makes factions go to war, sometimes works sometimes doesnt, hard to find. or you could just sign up with the faction then just start raiding and attacking nations not in war with them, always works for me.

you could try reinstalling?

if you cant play it at the lowest settings you cant play this mod and i quote(paraphrase more or less) "Cozur: you need a powerful computer to play this mod" even IF he decided to lower the requirements, the map size will crash the game on any crappy computer.

i havent done it but, if "deploy pavise" is like how real life pavises are(well were) used, you would place the shield in front of you into the ground like a little wall then you can shoot your crossbow over it. its like... idk the Assault Shield from Call Of Duty Black Ops II?

its because you havent done enough, i get 2 castles and 1 town easy which in itself is stupid considering my king only owns 1 castle and 1 town. tenants loving you have no weight into whether or not your getting said town/castle/city , being the one to capture it/having no castle/city/town are the only two things you can do to have a better chance of a king giving you said place.

thats just the default dialouge i think, if they changed it they would refer to females as he or him etc. its just how the quest generation has for its mad lib i think.

just become a vassal and **** off the nation of your choosing by attacking them and boom, your king is at war.

make them stay in your personal upgraded prison, and they dont leave until you say so (sell them for ransom), the castle the prison was in is captured, or they escape (chances are reduced since you have a nice and shiny prison).

The bastards (people with last name Snow , Sand , Rivers etc) are people who have at least one noble parent, theyre not commoners theyre bastards :D

I play it on Windows 7 just fine so it shouldnt be that (are you using Windows 8 or a Mac 64 bit?). Granted that your not lying about your specs i would think that you got a pirated version. I got this mod/game to start a new game on a costco(big box store) PC bought 5-6 years ago. Can you even play the "native" game? Did you put all the settings on high? If you did do us all a favor and try it on the lowest settings first.

cheating to get high levels "confuses" the A.I. and suddenly bands of 1000+ bandits or so start to pop up and start to chase your pretty little 50-100 army's arse across the map, other than that using cheats is all fine and well. I remember .92 when i had to use cheats to move around Volantis lol.

you cant really "find a good lance" just like how i cant find the awesome short sword that did 30D that i got 4 games ago.

for the first thing, archery isnt less important, i play with damaged halved and i still get pwned by longbowmen. the only reason i win half my battles is because my bowmen peppered half the enemy to death. Unless you have 10 power draw with a 6 power draw bow, you cant rambo with archery.

the enemy receives reinforcements, they just get very little and are hidden by the covering of the second to last ship, do the "kill all enemy cheat" three seconds later you will see a helm pop up on the enemy ships well at least in my game they do. I downloaded the game June ~20 so whatever version that is is the one im using, .92 mod
