There is no reason for the Wc3 engine, just continue on the Sc2 platform.

For the remakes the ones originally appeared in the games as you will play the same missions. Thou I may include bonus levels.
In a previous article you mentioned the plan to release publicly the resource mod files of WAA with the alpha. When will you plan to do this, or if its already done what is the name of it?
It has less races because its alpha, their full release will have the remaining two races. It also plays just like WC3 but looks much better with HD models.
At the moment i focus on wc1 and wc2. Although i already worked on Wc3 stuff too, Armies of Azeroth exclusively focus on Wc3, and they have 12+ team member, so i'd rather expect them to finish it.
Well if its fit for the style and i have permission to use, yes. For example i plan to use some of the models from Armies of Azeroth until i can get someone make the models of wc1 and 2

Warcraft 2 multiplayer demo is out on EU. Search for COA or Wc2, keep in mind its a demo version with less polished stuff.

The first multiplayer map is already playable on the eu server. Search for "COA" or "WC1" on the Sc2 arcade eu. Please keep in mind that many thing will change.
as i didn't do videos most likely not. But why don't you go and play with some friends instead of watching videos ;)
I can't promise anything about AI atm.
We will remake it. Our official team consist three people. Me- data, triggers and leader of proj, HolyArk- our terrainer, and Orly our artist. We had a former terrainer from the early years- Wacclian. And a few helpers like Triceron and TwoDie.

I can agree with the classical style looks better. Simple units doesn't need to look too heroic. Anyway most progress was made on the data editing, but as a progress here is two model made for us by TaylorMouse- Lothar and Daemon: Sc2mapster.com

soo, what happen with the units, if your hero die? Do they become uncontrolable or neutral hostile?
You shall consider release those remaining codes and assets with the paradox ones. Maybe some people will find it usefull, or can work on it again. Everytime i see that ten minute skirmish demonstartion from 2011 i shred tears.
What about The Red Alert mod (RA1 remake)?
