Are you using the keyboard or the mouse to move? I found its difficult to enter doors with the mouse. Try using the keyboard to move through them.

Simplicity that's why. It takes a long time to make a mod for a newer game, and even longer to do a FULL on TC, plus all that stuff gets overly complicated and once its finished can take a long time to download and may be loaded with bugs.

With wolf3d its possible to make a FULL TC in a week, with no bugs, and that can be downloaded in under a half hour, picked up and played whenever, and still take a few hours for the person to complete. Also the replay value is usually better in a simple game then an overly complex game so that you can pick up and play the game again and again whenever with barely a thought.

Also the potential of the NORMAL wolf3d engine with only a few minor coding changes, has been largely untapped and you can do some stunning things with it if your creative enough. We at the wolf community have barely touched on all the things that can be done with such a simple engine. :)

Well anakin does have a father...kind of. It was Darth Sidious. (and don't be hating me for this.) Darth Sidious used the knowledge from Darth Plagus to create life using the dark side, so he could create Anakin to pose as the "chosen one" to fulfill the so called prophecy. It was all part of his plan. Except one minor flaw. He did fulfill the prophecy, as Vader did eventually destroy the sith and bring balance to the force by killing The emperor at the end of ROTJ. Just something to debate over. :)
