I'm not going to pay $15.00 for abandonware. I downloaded it for free before but I don't remember where. I have wasted my data on several bad downloads trying to find it.

so looking forward to the new mod but I had to wipe my computer and Now I need to download doom2 again but I don't remember where I got it. Any suggestion?

I think I have one of those. I extract zipped folders all the time, but I can't find an option to use it on a 7Z. nor can I find the extraction program itself.

Yeah, it doesn't look like I have much choice anyway. Thanks anyway though.

There are other files inside the 7Z? how am I supposed to extract that? I can't find an option for it. I amusing Windows 8.1 BTW.

No it doesn't show any errors. It's like the file isn't even there. I have had the same issue with two other 7Z. files too, I load them but the game runs as if they don't even exist.

Only with brutal doom, though I have tried it all by itself ( without brutal ) just as part of my trial and error process.

That's the file that I downloaded, but it still doesn't seem to work.

OK I figured out the gzdoom versus zdoom thing and I have downloaded gzdoom, but other than that I'm still kinda lost. please forgive my newbieness.

Call me a newb (as far as mods go) but I don't hove a clue where to find the latest svn much less know what it is, could you provide a link?. I'm not even sure if gzdoom and zdoom are different things or not. I know the file on my computer says zdoom (but I don't remember where I found it). does it make a difference?
