Hey, I'm a longtime follower of your mod. Goldeneye is great and your homage to the original is equally great.

I'm curious, if anyone on the development team is familiar with games like Left 4 Dead (1,2) and Portal 2's ability to (although through console hacks) play the game split screen. As you may have already guessed, I am here to find out if there will ever be any chance that this feature might be researched and implemented into GE:S?

With the release of Steam Big Picture mode, I have found myself with a HTPC that can run tons of games on a controller, without the need for keyboard/mouse control. Many Steam games are slowly starting to support gamepad controls and same-system multiplayer.

I am dreaming of a day where Goldeneye Source can be loaded directly from Big Picture (already possible) and fully support gamepad controls, and include up to 4 player (heck, 2 player even) local games.

How unlikely is something like this? I think it could potentially revive the community and with the limited amount of gamepad supported Steam titles, breath new life into the game when Valve finally unveils its Steam Box's later this year.
