The model was made by goel. I just changed the cockbit and scale of a few parts. Added some weapons and UV-Map.
The UV-map is pretty basic. The animation takes up to 30 min. The scripting is kinda easy. If you get one working, the rest is just copy and past.
The rest is simply practice and lots of spare time.

Right now, I'm just trying to get the models and the basic scripting done. The whole balancing in scale, weapons, speed and so on will be done later.

Yes the thanatos is Battletech. But it's a differnet timeline. It's 3060.

I try to stay with 3025, because that's how the whole Battletech started in the 80th's and the Mechs just look somehow better to me and the technik is still pretty easy. But who knows, where the whole projekt is going.

Right now I'm working on implementing the units in to the game. It's hard to get 5 different weaponsystems to work besides each other. Every weapon uses a turret but it's not a turret, kinda confusing.

Could you work on weaponfiles? Like creating an LRM or AC and outlay the basic structure? I could give you the basic structure of the Atlas to test it on.
