In terms of the Federation, Klingon, Romulans, and Dominion factions, the game is fun and enjoyable. The tech trees are well fleshed out and true to the series. However, when you get to the Borg faction, the mod takes a nose dive.

The developers took a sharp turn away from the series in regards to the Borg. In the series, notably Voyager, more is learned about the Borg, notably that they can be beaten by cunning or just sheer brute force. The developers, in their fanboy rage over this, threw out everything that happened in Voyager, including all technology advancements in the Alpha Quadrant, but did not limit the tech tree to pre-Voyager. The result is a laughably overpowered faction completely out of touch with the series.

Unfortunately, this is the only Star Trek mod out there, so Trekkies will have to deal with the fanboy rage present in this mod. If you play without the Borg, it's easily an 8/10. If you play with the Borg, 3/10.
