While trying to run the game in ubuntu 12.04 it crashes with following message.
symbol lookup error: ./football: undefined symbol: TTF_SetFontOutline
I even tried after installing SDL-ttf-2.0.10, 2.0.11 from source. It still does not work.

Hi, with current libraries this game does not run. I had problems running even the one I get from software center, but recently I upgraded to linux 3.1 and I am using xorg-edgers repo. Now the one from software center runs even on 1366x768 (very well) but the desura client does not run. I have intel hd 3000 graphics card. Do I need to replace newer version of library to neverball/lib32 or what is the problem? I am in 64-bit ubuntu.
