i'll see what i can do
i'll see what i can do
thanks for the endorsement!
Absolutely! Once I get done making this compatible with DX8&9 I'll get to work on adding in those previous features. :)
i see i see! thanks for the info, i'll definitely keep this in mind in future updates!
hey there,
sorry for the late reply. before recently I would have said i wouldn't be able to do this, but thanks to the help of another modder i might have something in the works that can do just this. I'll be giving this mode an overhaul and posting an updated version soon. expect it within the month!
Sorry you feel that way. hopefully you find the mods you're looking for on this site! there are plenty out there!
if you're using other menu mods with this it's probably going to change a lot of things. in the video I was only using My menu mod. I've tried higher resolution videos but for some reason the game only takes 1280 x 920 unless i'm missing some technique. still new to modding anomaly.
As far as i know there shouldn't be an image of a man sitting by a camp fire in the settings menu. it should a still image of the character in the main menu video standing in front of what looks like a wall made out of relay parts (again demonstrated in the video preview)
it's the m16 from farcry 2
just tested it. nope XD
is this compatible with magazines mod?
i'm sure there is a way but that's outside of my expertise. maybe some time in the future i will learn.
yes this can be toggled with the minimap key
i'll look into re-enabling the clock for this mod. i'll be giving this an overhaul soon!
ah i see, the off-centered compass was done purposefully. Nevermind that then, i was able to edit the .xml to my liking.
while tinkering with your compass mod i saw just exactly what line of code you edited to make the minimap transparent. I gotta say i would have never thought of it myself as it's such a simple edit. The mod i had made only shrank down the minimap so that the compass texture would remain, but people were asking if it was possible to make an objective marker for it. problem was i didn't know how to do that without the minimap showing up, but after seeing your edit it inspired me to dig deeper. now i've got more or less a working compass with a custom objective marker and that's mostly thanks to you!
so yeah i will absolutely credit you when i upload this new mod!
oh you wanted to make the letterbox/black lines go away! NOW I understand. Yes, I can make an updated in the future to make the black bars go away.
I wIll look into this when I'm able. Just to be sure, are you using the latest version of MCM?
Hello! I don't quite understand but I will do my best to address this.
You ask if there's any way to make this full screen? It should run in full screen without issue as this is the default settings it was tested on.
You asli ask if it's possible to translate the bottom line to Russian? Which line are you referring to?
Thank you for your feedback!
thanks for the suggestion!
When I get time in the future I'll look into adding more customization options
heya! cam across this mod and gotta say, nice job! problem though: the texture is not properly aligned with the compass itself. would you mind if i tinkered with it a bit and shared my findings? also would it be a problem if i implemented it into my mod in the future? (Rave800's Compass Overlay)
hey i found it! i was wondering if you had uploaded the mod already or not! looks great!
Heya i just tried downloading this and my AV said there was a trojan in the file. Not sure, but this has been the only mod so far where this has happened.
Sorry for the late reply.
resize the UI or just the compass?
to manually resize the compass you need to change the width, height values in the "zone_map_16.xml" file located in the "gamedata>configs>ui" path.
The values should be on line 13:
<compass x="0.50" y="50" width="800" height="800" stretch="1" heading="1" alignment="c">
as you adjust it to be bigger or smaller using the height and width values you might have to adjust the placement of it as it may shrink beneath the bottom of the screen.
to do this you'll need to edit the "y" values in line 3:
<level_frame x="0.666" y="1.2" width="0.525" height="0.525" alignment="c"/>
I figured it might be trivial after looking into the ui_actor_hint_wind file it self. I just wanted to make sure and run some tests on it myself. Thanks for looking into this. if you haven't you should upload your fix to ModDB since you already put in the effort! I do appreciate the help. Cheers!
no sadly it does not. it's just a transparent compass face
no prob. sorry it took so long XD
could you link me to the mod specifically giving you this issue? i see there are a lot of different mods labeled "arszi radiation overhaul" and I want to make sure i'm troubleshooting the right one. Thanks!
this worked, thank you for your help! I will be sure to credit you when I upload the DX8/9 version. Thanks again for your feedback!
not sure. i'll see if i can look into it. thanks for the feedback!
i'll be trying this soon. thanks for the feedback!
