There will be a demo released sometime this year to give players a taste of the mod.

Hate to break it to you but your 'idea' was originally thought up by Valve and was supposed to be implemented in Portal 2 but was taken out early on in development because play testing showed that players were getting motion sickness. Check out "The Final Hours of Portal 2" if you want to read up more on the idea. People create the same ideas all the time. Don't let someone else's take on it kill yours.

Maybe I've gotten lucky but every place I've gone to ask for help to is incredibly helpful. I feel like as long as you don't ask stupid questions or at least try to do your own research before asking a question, no one will be a jerk to you.

There are separate teams for single player and co-op so both will have full attention put into them.

Hey, I composed this track for the game. There's a much newer (and improved) version of this track that we might be releasing in the future. Stick around.

The odds of Hammer coming to Mac are pretty slim due to the fact that most of the tools are based off of programming code based in Windows. Porting games from Windows to Mac is a little different than porting an entire set of tools that are based heavily on Windows-oriented code. I'm saying this as a Mac user as well. I suggest you look into using Boot Camp to run Windows 7. It runs the new Portal 2 SDK really well and I haven't had any problems yet.

I think there's a really skewed value between games when you really sit back and think about it. People will easily spend $10-$20 for a 2 hour experience at the movies before even thinking about spending $15 for a game that could potentially last weeks of entertainment. I think the problem is that the gaming community is pretty pretentious and it's all about, "this game sucks, this game rocks, this platform sucks" and we've devalued games to the point where we think they should be worth our money, regardless of how fun they might be. I think people pirate for this very reason. The same way you mentioned we don't NEED video games, is the reason we feel like our money is better spent elsewhere.
