I had 10 Moros in the back shooting the Revenant and 10 thanatos ramming the frigates and smart bombing them and I took control of the base about 20 minutes after I killed the mothership, although after exploring the planet I wasn't able to build Revenants.

The Sansha Planet (Pirate HQ) is great for leveling up your Capital Ships, there needs to be more nightmares & revenants although I agree that it's op when you just have subcaps.
