I looked through the videos and after watching one of them I learned how to properly save the game and continue the campaign. Now everything is running perfect. Thank you very much for the help.

I need some help when it comes to starting a second mission after completing the first one. The readme says that if you save the mission name to the same name of the file you created the deployment screen and such should re-appear so you can begin the next mission. However for me this does not occur. I can sit and wait forever and nothing will happen. If I alt+tab and look at the DCG myself it just sits at the main menu where it shows the "New Campaign" option and such. If someone could help me bypass this issue it would be much appreciated. I really enjoy the idea of this mod and look forward to continuing future campaigns.
