Conquest of Elysium 3 is a wonderful release from Illwinter. I'm a long-time fan of their games, particularly all three of the Dominions games. It's a welcome shift of gameplay style, much more modest than trying to become a god, and much less micromanagement and overwhelm as a successful game takes off (compared to Dominions).

For those of you not used to Illwinter games, give it some time and patience, and realize you are supposed to lose some games. If you stick with it and explore, you will discover an extremely rich game full of wonderful and interesting details.
