so sergio, did u try 2.0.2. ? does it fix yanov problems, im guessing u had them...

yeah i guess the mod had to inherit some of the games original prog fails, i mean stalker games are notoriusly buggy all by themselves

i hate the fact that i cant be sure if its a game intended thing, or just another bug... and i soo want to play misery2

another thing, i can get a psy dome both for my suit and for my helmet... so that cant be right.. right? i mean do they both increase psy immunity, i mean being around controllers killed with both psy domes, the blue field just wrecks me if i dont take psy block drugs...

So, does this patch 2.0.2 fix yanov station? all the ctd's and the talking with wounded npc's crashes and the rest of the popular fails? I dont want to play from the beginning to realise im back at my desktop frustrated...

I will be back later, with the stuff prepared, a few hours from now, I actually deleted all the saves that were useless, but im pretty sure im gonna have a small pile of them soon.

OK, let me see through my saves which ones crash the game, its a 109 mb folder so I'll upload the corrupted ones, and the crash logs, ok... brb p.s. I'm playing 2.0.1, but i noticed no difference so far, the game was crashing in Yanov before I installed it.

IS there even a donating platform of sorts for the modders?

Ok. A short review. This Mod rules, I love it, I'm a fan, that being said I wouldn't recommend it to anybody except my enemies. The amount of frustration with constant crash-to-desktops after the arrival in Yanov is just way passed the point where I would feel comfortable saying it's a good mod. I will still continue to play in hopes the talented authors of Misery2.0 finish their product and produce a patch that would make Yanov work. I'll be waiting in Zaton, clearing out mercs from the Fueling Station to get a decent shotgun, however, I would really like to return to Yanov asap. Forget what I would like, the product itself deserves respect and patching, because it could be awesome. Maybe ppl should donate to the team to motivate them to finish the mod, because in my humble opinion, the mod IS NOT finished, we are all playing a half-product.
I'm talking from my own experience with the game, but I've noticed there's a critical mass of people having the same issues I'm having.

how can i influence prefetching at all? i have no settings for that... as far as i know.

yeah, the term "death by thousand cuts" comes to mind

i think yanov saves go to hell around the debt returning to bandits mission, after u come back to the station it normalises, atleast it did for me

just installed patch 2.01, it crashed while trying to help out a busted stalker

also i reinstalled it to different fov the first time i noticed it, it didn't help, don't do it, just increase resolution. and you can ignore the "the game needs to be restarted blah blah" warning when switching only the resolution, its updated over the pause screen.

true, it sucked, i increased resolution and then it was fine, i played at 800x600 expecting smoother gameplay, but actually, switching it higher just made the descriptions readable, otherwise, ok.

this works with misery 2.0? is it for high end machines?

but armor piercing bullets still work better for mutants

and also, my shotgun feels kind of too-useless, i mean my ak cobra deals with mutants faster, the close ones, spas-12 just isn't as good, even at close range

its still worth taking out those zombies ant loot them, there's a stash there also... talking about stashes, the marked ones are also moved right?
