Howdy Folks, I was just wondering if this patch, increases the maximum number of allowed networkableInfo Scripts, or perhaps maybe maximum allowed number of Statemasks, being that the number of allowed players and or Bots is increased in this patch, and therefore I'm assuming it must allow more networkableInfos or Statemasks. Am I correct in my assumption? If so, can you tell me what the maximum number of networkableInfo scripts and or Statemasks is when this patch is installed?

I just wanted everyone to know that though I am still having issues with running HTroop over a network (due to the "to many statemasks" error; correct spelling by the way, according to the debugger), I will be uploading a new, full, singleplayer version of HTroop for now. Meanwhile, I will continue trying to fix HTroop's ability to be played over a network, on all maps. If anyone of you has any experience in fixing or at least discovering the problem object (most likely a vehicle) that is causing the statemasks error, please speak up and help us out in correcting the problem. Thank you all for your patience.

Howdy Folks, I just wanted to let everyone know, that I am going to be working for the next couple of weeks to a month, to get my mod back in order, and do some finishing touches, and then release the entire mod, as a singleplayer mod for now, until I can figure out these networking issues. I will continue to be working on the mod here and there, but I feel like the small amount of data that I released for the mod about a year ago, was just not enough. I wanted everyone to see what I have been doing so far. Perhaps then, someone will understand, all that I have gone through, and decide to help me figure out how to make the mod successfully work over a network for all maps.

Howdy Folks,
Can anyone tell me if there is a patch or add on, for Bf1942, that will Allow Double the normal Number of networkableInfo's? If so, can you please send me a download link and tell me if I'm going to have to change any of my mod's scripting, after install?
I Truly Believe that this will Finally Fix the "too many statemasks" errors I have been having in HTroop. Please Help!

As I mentioned earlier folks, I am still working on HTroop, here and there. As a lot of you more experienced modders out there know, life tends to get in the way of progress. Little by little, I am attempting to decrease the number of networkableInfo Scripts, that I am having an issue with on my navel vessels, and other large vehicles. As I asked before, if there are any BF 1942 modders out there that would be interested in helping me with this project, and testing it out over a local area network, a dedicated server, and a normal multiplayer server, that is non dedicated, it would be very appreciated. Thank you all for your devotion and patience.

I just wanted to let everyone know that in my opinion, my team and I released the beta of HTroop a bit too early. As I knew would happen, I was unable to release more than maybe 1/16 of the available maps in the mod due to the "too many statemasks" error, occurring in the rest of the maps (and especially all of the ocean based maps), which I am slowly attempting to correct, each time I have a little bit of time and energy to do so. However, in regards to time and energy, I have been working quite a bit, and life simply happened, preventing me from constantly working on the mod like before. I will continue to try to correct the occurring errors, by editing the naval ships and other large, multi weaponized vehicles, but in the meantime, hang in there folks. If there are any modders or networking specialists out there, that know their way around Bf1942 scripting/programming, that would like to take a swing at helping me fix this problem, so I can get back to editing the maps and finishing my other small projects, I promise (if the problem gets fixed), I will release the rest of the mod. However, if it never gets fixed, well...I don't know. I would hate to just release it as a Singleplayer mod, as the main reason for working on it all these 18+ years, was to play online with everyone in CoOp and Multiplayer games, Not Alone.

Thank you, that is very kind of you. I love the fact that I have an Awesome, Multi Talented Team of Techs/Playtesters, and Public Relations, but I do hope sometimes, that other modders (specialized, or multi takented) would help us finish HTroop at a quicker rate. For example, currently, I am working on enhancing some effects oh, but I am not an effects expert. I have created some pretty amazing effects in the past, but this time, I am honestly, muddling my way through. I have many other projects to work on, but until I'm finished with this effects project, I cannot move on. If there are any effects gurus out there, that wish to join the team, or help us out, I could also use expertpath members, willing to use an ed 42 technique, and painting black pathMaps, on a blank canvas, if you will. There are other small projects I could use help with as well, to get this update finished. If you are interested in helping, please PM me. Thank you.

I want everyone to know, I am working diligently on releasing an update for HTroop v1.2 Beta. It will correct some network errors that are mainly occurring in maps with ships; hence why I have not yet released any of my maps with sea vessels in them. However, I am working two jobs, I have a family, and a life outside of modding, so I am spending part of my time and needed for sleep, every night, working on this. I will release it as soon as possible. I cannot promise that it will be released before the contest is completed. When I do release the update, it will include not only maps with sea vessels, but maps with helicopters, other aircraft based maps, and more.

I would like to point out (as the Creator of HTroop, but not the only Team Member) that LuccaWulf and the rest of our team have been some amazingly dedicated and honest about what seems like a good addition to the mod or not. We have asked the current player fans of HTroop and have received professional advice from multiple forums over the 17 or so years of piecing this not so mini, mini-mod together, that patiently await it's final release. It is not that I cannot release it myself, as I have been the only one modifying the code/script (and a few other things) since the beginning. However, there will be a few things within it, such as a better weapon animation, or a few maneuver animations I'd love to combine with some personal code combinations, or a tank may need better textures; small things, but noticeable by the experienced. Though game play, physics, and the desire to make the mod playable and enjoyable for every skill of player, I have still done (to the best of my current knowledge), to make HTroop look as professional as possible, but I am not a miracle worker. Some of the most amazing of mods I have done within HTroop, would look so much better, if the animations or meshes, or textures (or a combination of all 3) would be of better quality). The AI in HTroop is Very Good (perhaps better than) many of the mods out there. This is not simply my opinion, but a proven fact, from many a player's unbiased opinion. I have always enjoyed the idea of fighting alongside fellow players on the battlefield, against an incredibly challenging force of bots, and have admittedly, spent most of my time making HTroop's AI, game play, physics, and overall different weapons, maps, vehicles, and more (used from various mods; hence why HTroop is a mini-mod), work with one another. Even now, I am still having issues with various maps from various mods loading without crashing when they are placed in One Order on the dedicated server list, but they have No Problem Loading When they are in a different order of maps. If there are any Bf1942 Info Tech's out there that could help with this, or any Bf1942 based AI, Animation, StandardMesh and/or AI experts, please reach out and offer your help. This is simply a mod that we believe not only will Rock the World of Battlefield, but it is simply a very long project that both I, and my family, would like to see finished. My family (my Wife & my little one), have been very patient with me in many ways, including the long nights, after long work days, and being able to spend time with my family; times when I should have been sleeping, but instead, consistently working on the mod. Its time to finish up the list, do 3 or 4 sessions of play testing the maps with the Play Testers (also something we need more of), do some finishing touches after that, and then a mass live streamed, grand release of HTroop v1.2. The fact is, if I had more modders, willing to do with me, what I and LuccaWulf, have mentioned above, as well as some repetitive, but important tasks, the mod would be finished within half a year, but because it is only me working on everything, and then our small play testing team, testing the mod on a server together, when they are available, will take significantly longer.

Bf1942 Strike Witches mod DOES NOT work. It crashes to desktop when I run it. I have Windows 7 OS, and all other mods including the regular Bf1942 mod work on Windows 7, so I know its not a compatibility problem. I checked the debugger, and the log shows that the Tunak Dance handweapon is having issues, such as being unable to find the animation file for it. I would really like to see what this mod is like. Can anyone send me a link to this mod's WORKING FILE? I have already tried installing the mod and applying the 02 patch; still doesn't work. Any ideas?
