MODIFIED BATTLEFIELD 1942 EXECUTABLE AND .RFA FILE/S README
WHAT IS THIS?
=> This modified files will able you to play up to 256 bots in Coop mode!
=> The files are available for both Physical retail (i.e. Disc) and Origin version. USE ONLY ONE if you have either of those copy of Battlefield 1942.
TO INSTALL:
NOTE: BACKUP THE NECESSARY FILES BEFORE CHANGING ANYTHING!
A). FOR DISC VERSION
=> Copy and replace BF1942.exe on main Battlefield 1942 folder (i.e. C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 1942/).
=> Copy menu_001.rfa and replace ai.rfa on Battlefield 1942's Mods/bf1942/Archives folder (i.e. C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 1942/Mods/bf1942/Archives/).
=> Copy and replace Game.rfa on Battlefield 1942's Mods/bf1942/Archives/bf1942 folder (i.e. C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 1942/Mods/bf1942/Archives/bf1942/).
B). FOR ORIGIN VERSION
=> Copy and replace BF1942.exe on main Battlefield 1942 folder (i.e. C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/Battlefield 1942/).
=> Copy menu_001.rfa and replace ai.rfa on Battlefield 1942's Mods/bf1942/Archives folder (i.e. C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/Battlefield 1942/Mods/bf1942/Archives/).
=> Copy and replace Game.rfa on Battlefield 1942's Mods/bf1942/Archives/bf1942 folder (i.e. C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/Battlefield 1942/Mods/bf1942/Archives/bf1942/).
TAKE NOTE:
=> Change the indicated drive folder if your Battlefield 1942 was not installed on default C:/Program Files, especially if you're running on a 64-bit operating system.
=> In order to play online, patch your current Battlefield 1942 installation FIRST either you are using Retail (v1.61b) or Origin (v1.612) version with Gamespy patch by s[sk] and tuia:

=> For other Battlefield 1942 mod/s of your choice, you have to edit the game.rfa (Found in Mods/"modname"/Archives/bf1942 folder) using WinRFA, select AIdefault.con, find "aiSettings.setMaxNBots" and change the value from 64 to 256.
=> Although Battlefield 1942 was released in 2002 where single-core processors are dominant, make sure that your computer's CPU had enough clock speed as AI/bots consumed a lot of CPU bandwidth during gameplay. A clock speed of at least 3.2GHz or higher per core is necessary.
=> There's a possibility of Crash-to-desktop (CTD) when the number of players set to 256 in Coop mode during gameplay. REDUCE the number IF necessary.
=> When starting the game and setting the in-game resolution to 1920x1080 or higher plus the maximum amount of players is 256 at 1000% ticket value, you'll noticed that the ticket number on both sides during gameplay is on a thousand decimal instead of ten thousand or greater. This is a bug in the game as it cannot display the ticket value properly on higher resolutions.

it is work in 1.41 when you copy battlefield1942.exe file
and open it he wall tell you the forget file name is bfcprt.dll downloaded from google and pasted then open game and enjoy.

Sorry for uber late reply, but if you're talking about version 1.41 then I assume you're using this files to patch an older version of Battlefield 1942. Make sure the game was patched to 1.61b, then apply this to make it work.

My game crashes as soon as my friend joins, any ideas?
Take note that Battlefield 1942 had notoriously known of crashed-to-desktop on Windows Vista and 7, and this patch does not solve this.
If your friend's PC OS is Windows 10, then there's something wrong on his/her end as i'm not experiencing CTDs anymore on W10.

Followed the instructions, replaced the executable, copied and replaced the rfa files, and edited Battlegroup42's game.rfa file as per instructions, but the game still begins with roughly 64 players. What could I have done wrong? Is the menu rfa file the reason for this failure? Any other potential explanation?
Never mind, solved it by following the instructions to modify the game.rfa, exporting all files, including the modified "AIdefault.con" file, to a folder separate from the Battlefield 1942 directory, repacking these exported files into a new game.rfa, and replacing the original game.rfa with this newly packed file.
I found the BOTs will lose their interest to vehicle after the first vehicle of attack。
al13326 Could you create Bot Support for the cureently FHSW Mod too? The Japanese doesnt it. But we have a goog animated Nod for the future, if it contains COOP mode too. :)

Howdy Folks, I was just wondering if this patch, increases the maximum number of allowed networkableInfo Scripts, or perhaps maybe maximum allowed number of Statemasks, being that the number of allowed players and or Bots is increased in this patch, and therefore I'm assuming it must allow more networkableInfos or Statemasks. Am I correct in my assumption? If so, can you tell me what the maximum number of networkableInfo scripts and or Statemasks is when this patch is installed?
