Help, Every 10 minutes or so it crashes and it says:
Not enough texture for shader base tex Act/NewLoner/Upper_d
i tried deleting that file but it keeps giving me the same error.
After all types of fixes and tweaks i'm still getting less than 10 fps, Idk why, I currently use dynamic lighting and get stable 20 30 fps but it's kind laggy sometimes, I don't know why i get better frames with dynamic lighting rather than using static lightning, I don't wanna think i spent 5 days downloading a 6gb game just to find out i can't play it with frames :(
Note that i can play anomaly, dead air, call of chernobyl and stalker series at a solid 40 fps in static lighting, Please help me fix the low frames!
Don't suggest me to keep using dynamic lighting, It may give me 20 fps but it also a ton of stutters

Well nevermind, The player and npc shadow on r1 are so far impossible to disable trough the r1 folder you told me :(.
so please dezo, Any other way like a patch or a low end pc dlls for the game?
Please the npc shadows are killing my game frames to an unknown boundry :( i really wanna play this game :(

Oh thanks, anyway i was meaning if the engine source are still availble or not, But thanks, I didn't tought of checking in r1 shaders folder...

I've been digging around the shadows on directx 8 render so i found it may be related to r1_render.dll so deza, My question is: Did you use the SDK or Open Xray program to make the game? if so, Can i actually do a new shader thingy dll in a test game (just to get their dlls) and place it in LA Root and make it run without a CTD?

i tried that too, pretty much a lot solutions from several stalker games but what it matters to me it's the shadows, without a propper gpu it's pain the back part.
Hi, I have a really annoying problem, Since my pc is kinda potato-ish the directx9 render or R2 render is impossible to use in the game, so i use r1 but i get 20, 50 fps on big areas (Empty ones) but in npc places like the village in cordon is really laggy gettin straight 10fps, wich is unplayable, i tried everything from using the weak pc mod to modding the user.ltx, However i found that the problem is the entity shadows (the shadows you see on boxes and ragdolls, mostly on sid's bunker wich is awfully laggy.) i tried using -noshadows and still they can be seen it's really odd since i can play all stalker games on r1 render included COC and Dead Air without lag spikes or stuttering let alone low fps.
is this related to r1_render.dll? if so can anyone provide a modified dll or a fix that can disable ALL the shadows for good?
Please anyone help me :(
