It is not! This is still being worked on.
I dare to disagree. The problem doesn't come from the engine being used or even the ambition itself, it comes from a lack of properly managing said ambition. Which is something that I had no idea how to do due to inexperience.
One being silent doesn't equal one being dead ;) A lot was done in those eleven months. Expect some new info soon.
It's not cancelled, it's still in active development.
No updates planned at the moment. But I can tell you this, the gameplay side of it is complete for the most part and all of the levels are done, I have to tweak and polish a few of them however.
The really big thing left is implementing the cutscenes and dialogues, which I'll be doing in the following two months.
The only way this mod will "stop being worked on" is by being content complete and available for download.
It's still being worked on!, things are just moving at a slow pace.
I'm sorry that you were dissapointed by Midnight Animal.
That said, I don't particularly appreciate that since, besides the fact that I'm actually looking forward to it, telling me that I should make something exactly like HLM without risking the possibility of failure by attempting to do something different (which the way I see it, is what mods are meant for) isn't a mentality that I like.
No, it is Animal de Medianoche, it was translated in Google Translate but still, is not incorrect.
I've noticed, the resolution of the game is 1200 x 768.
Try setting the room views to be W: 450 and H:255, then Port to screen W: 1366, and in the line 109 and 115 in the draw event of objEffector change it from 240 to 480, and that will make it look exactly like in the updated engine without those ugly black bars at the sides :P.
I think you should be able of porting the game to OS X and Linux by using Enigma.

Hi there! I'm a game developer from Uruguay who wants to make games that tell stories through gameplay. My view is that games are a conversation between player and designer and I want to explore this with my work.
