The only way I've found to launch Blade fullscreen reliably is using the console.

I'm using Nglide 1.04 as later versions (2.0) seem to crash too.
Just start the Launcher with the -console command line. The launcher and the console window will open. Then close the console and start the actual game.

How to start with the console:
Create a shortcut for Blade.exe
Open its properties and add "-console" after the path\blade.exe:

path\blade.exe -console

Try droping this into your /bin folder. Overwrite or rename the old one.
This DOF acts more like a you want. The area in focus goes from the character to the point you are looking.
The HUD is still blured. No fix for that.

The worst part about killing the vampire so many times is that you have to suffer the repeated vision of that awful dragon model that appears at the end of the cinematic. What a poorly constructed creature it is :)
I never experienced the loading map bug you are talking about. SO it maybe caused by some other mod or issue. I don't think is because of this mod. Does it work if you uninstall "blade of light"?

The focus problem with the bow appears depending on the character you are using. I think the barbarian is taller than other characters and its hand gets in front of the focus "point". Therefore the hand is in focus and not the enemy. It's hard to implement different settings per character or per map. Some things are a bit broken because of that.

Is not a problem for this mod only. It seems any ENBseries modded game has problems with windows 8.

Demo Gameplay for Blade of Light updated version 1.5

As it's explained in the instructions to start the mod for saved games you should open the F1 menu, press 1 and then exit the F1 menu. The "Blade of light on" message will appear. then just hit 1 any time to turn the light on or off.

The text is not in a different layer so it gets blurred by the DOF and BLoom. If you need to read the text hit shift+F12 to disable the graphics temporarily.
