I run a Very High base setting, modded with the ultra config, hi rez textures mod, and with the included tod.

Shadows seem to be the problem (vanilla Very High shadows too); the fps ''only'' drops to 20-25 when shadows are on low steeings.

To be more precise on the problem's symptoms, the framerate drops when looking towards a BIG chunk of jungle. This might confirm my shadow theory; since your jungles are so dense. By the way, thanks for those jungles! Its maybe the first acceptably dense jungle i see in a video game. :)

Slayer, i have a little performance issue when playing: When i look East, or at least in the opposite direction of where you look when you spawn, my framerate drops dramatically: from something like 40-45 to 10-13. Do you have any idea about this issue?

Ok, for those who have problems launching the mod with Steam and windows 7, here is what worked for me: right click on your game in your steam game list, go to properties then to set launch options. Enter:
-mod EscapeParadise
Apply, etc., then start the game normally.

pk the problem was that i wasnt in devmode

when i load a game, it says: crysis has stopped working.... help!

it doesn't work.... plz help!! i put the zz_jlimweaponset1.pak file the Game file, started crysis and its the same thing in MP and SP: unreconized command. help!!!
