This mod has come such a long way. been playing since extra invasion, never tried the original. However, all the experiences I had on it were brilliant. definitely the most innovative mod I've seen ever, and such an easy-to-mod platform like warband, this is the only mod I've ever actually installed on a game. No regrets either. I remember some great, completely random yet spontaneous events, such as a high-round spartan shield wall against zombies, or an actual re-enactment of the battle of Helms Deep XD. The possibilities with this mod are different to any other, and I've had great, fun and memorable experiences playing it. Truly the best fan-made work ever on a game, and to me it surpasses the base game (and alot of other games) by far. Finding extra invasion was like finding the motherload. Hitting the jackpot :). Alex (and the other guys) are going places if they decide to go into the gaming industry.

Downloading 0.117 now and then theres gonna be some fun, insane, cooperative antics fighting wave after wave of persians, uruk-hai and the like.

Hoping i can actually run this :P but its grown ALOT, and im glad those guns are getting work, it would be great if they have some feel to them rather than being full-metal crossbows. seriously an epic mod and i hope more people play it. gonna take a while for the thing to download and extract though :/

Thought i would just say something about your mod work. You appear to be extremely talented about what you do. I've been on extra invasion loads of times, and its easily one of my favourite warband mods. in fact, im installing 9.41 right now. I would just like to say that the amount of content that you have put in is amazing, and whether people say that you have broke a lot of rules, ripping models or whatever, it doesnt really matter in the long run, because not only will the companies whose models you have allegedly 'ripped' not actually care that you have done so, they also helped to make a highly enjoyable, funny and generally entertaining mod which I would say could probably warrant a small dlc price, even though circumstance obviously wouldn't allow that. Just to show you exactly cool this mod can be, i have in the past:

Led a two-lined spartan shield wall against a horde of zombies. (reached round 27)

Reeanacted the battle of helms deep in pretty spectacular fashion, with the help of some spontaneous and cool other players.

Rode on a goat playing as sauron holding a sniper rifle, with explosive potatoes as a backup-weapon. It was hilarious.

Not to mention the time i tried the single player was good fun.

All in all, the fact that you have managed to do all this whilst being in college is amazing. Keep up the good work! Good on you for being persistent even after being banned, because it paid off with a lot of players continuing to have many great games of invasion.
