I really want to try the mod, but so far I couldn't because it crashes on loading screen, more specifically at the ''loading data'' phase.
i use the latest steam warband version, win10, i5, 8ram, 8vram.
i installed both patches as well.
any idea why it crashes or what should i tweak to make it load the files?
I can help with the romanian history, how do i communicate with you or your team and what is it that you need? commandership names? uniforms? nomenclature? weapon types? important town and villages?

i just spent some time on the new version, and i'm glad to see more factions, new scenes, better character creation, but there are also many bugs: you can't get out of the merchant's house from instanbul, many troops and lords are naked or have no boots, troops don't shoot while waiting even when you comand fire on command, they only charge. starting with troops as a young officer at the beginning of the game sometimes results in mixed troops such as moldavians with serbs, or ottomans with bosnians. in custom battle, ottomans shoot bows and arrows instead of rifles.
i think i'll patiently wait for the update :)
i'd really love to help, but i have 0 modding experience. try getting in touch with l'aigle mod developers, maybe they'd be willing to help, or let you use some things from l'aigle, since the historical time period is really close
it would be so awesome if you could make a similar mod for mount and blade warband! there are a few mods for that game settled close to this period of time but none of them manage to properly present eastern and south eastern factions or their spirit!
you may have seen a picture where they were fighting turkish soldiers, for i am very confident that the blue coats with red hat was the turkish uniform, at least the one they used in the balkans. wallachian uniforms in general were blue-greish or grey, with either visor caps like frenchies or hats with feathers.
by the way, i hope you will take count on the suggestions i made, it will greatly improve and make it more submersive, it will be more authentic historicaly speaking. L'aigle is a good mod to take inspiration from, the time frames are really close, and if you can also add trenches and cannons, it will be terrific!

we didn't have counts, we had boyars. above boyars we had voivods but they were nomore during the war of independence. i tried looking for some generals or something, like robert e lee in the american independence wars, but i could only find two names. the link below that is a list of heroes, one of which, penes curcanul, a moldavian, is a really well known character, maybe you could use some of those names.

by the way: in the character creation, if i choose to be a young officer, i can choose to start with troops. if i start with moldavians, i get around 50 moldavian soldiers but serbian officers and drummers :(
also, you're uniforms aren't quite right. for example, the walachian have either white uniforms, or blue coats with red hats, which is in reality the turkish uniform. i got really confused.

also, do you think you can make the weapons more precise and reload faster, and be able to move as when you reload hand guns? even in the napoleonic era they had better weapons. the turks even had multiple shots rifles. romanians had only one shot rifle but still better models than those from napoleon times :)
also, do you tihnk you can introduce artilery? that would be awesome.
also, do you think you can make sieges look more like those in L'Aigle mod? and can you change the fight scenes to include trenches and fortifications like in this scene: Youtu.be
that would be awesome, it's going to be a really great mod if you can change the battle scenes, add prussia, fix the uniforms for all factions, get lord names more historicale accurate, fix weapons, introduce artilery, add some good music to each faction, add flags for each faction etc

does anyone know how to install this? i somehow managed to find a copy somewhere else, but when i unzip it to modules and start it, it just simply loads a native version instead. i downloaded from other sources, same thing. do i have to copy a file into the main folder or something?
