Also note that the 'HD remake' is a remake of Restoration of Erathia, while WoG has always been a modification for Shadow of Death expansion.
It would be cooler to have it as a more quest map (we already have the classic The Mandate of Heaven map for strategy), thanks to WoG which allows to implement many features. But still, an activity towards Might and Magic is always awesome.

I think about implementing a main menu option which allows to choose between opera SW/PoL and midi SW/PoL. Depends on the programmer though. :)
The mod is believed to also have its own opera OSTs for towns, same ones for SW and PoL, with midi versions provided as well.

Well, generally we need artists more than anything else. Donations cannot be taken because it's a hard moment how to share the money amongst the team, and anyway, time is the biggest treasure.
The project team currently consists of 4 enthusiasts who have their own real life problems and other modding projects as well. The work goes on, but slower than we would want it to.

That may be because of the increased difficulty. Try to increase the armor class of your Acolyte. IIRC Acolytes have a somewhat priority for the AI to kill.

It just patches your exe file. However, it has been proved that the patch might not work on many computers, depends on the OS. There is no way to fix that because the addon was created in ancient times with the means of hex-editing.

You forget about the Heroes 2 concept which intends simplicity.
Moreover, World of Warcraft has nothing to do with the Might and Magic universe. Taking a creature from an entirely different game is totally inacceptable, and we are not going to replace this Devil concept by a different one anyway.

Commanders was a nice feature, yet the whole WoG 3.58f is just a proof of concept rather than an actual holistic and polished design.
We are not going to drop off the Commanders or Stack Experience in future, but currently we concentrate on the classic game aspects (because the classics must be worked out first). I even don't think we will make the WoG options available in the next release - they contain so many critical bugs that they must be blocked until we get back to them.

Honestly I would recommend you to use Era 2.46 instead. It's an upgrade over WoG 3.58f which is more friendly towards users. It contains some unique features like portable mod managing, script editor and so on. Must be installed over clean Heroes Complete or H3 SoD.
More or less. You can change resolutions, but other HD Mod functionality is turned off for WoG and Era due to the uncatchable bugs caused by the WoG nature. HD Mod is optimized only for Heroes 3: Horn of the Abyss modification.
The closer updates of HD Mod might contain steps towards solving this issue.
Creature resize mod must be optional. This is supposed to appear when WoG 3.59 will have its own Mod Manager, like Era 2 has.
They are going to be even more perfect in this case :D

Not much has been done through summer, but there is a number of new creatures made from scratch and even, finally, some new authentic Commander looks instead of the frankensteined ones which are present in 3.58f.
Follow the instructions about the resolution change. They are included in the installation instructions.
They fit like born in FO2.
