Simple reason: The UEF nuke is the only one which has a real 3d graphic effect. Try for example to watch the cybran nuke when you change your camera position so that you see it from the side and you will see what i mean.

Hi, there exists a mod version for the standard SC game.
Have you ever checked our Homepage? Seems not ^^.
But in the standard mod, there are not all new units included and FA is also more developed.

This mod needs another mod to be enabled in the campaign. Its called mod enabler or so, but dont ask me where to get it.
Also this mod is not tested in campaign, its more a multiplayer/skirmish mod.

Download 2.11 which is available now. It will fix this problem.

you need to disable all other mods. Also please check the readme that comes with it to get sure that you have installed the mod right. Also get the newest version of Forged Alliance and this mod. Older versions dont work together. Hope that helps.

Hey guys. I am sorry to tell you that in 2.1 there are 2 bugs with the new units.
But i have fixed them in 2.11. So please, download the hotfixed version asap (will be available every moment here on Moddb)!

hm.. i think all these bugs come from a new SPring version. This mod is not supported anymore, so it can be that FA needs an old Spring version.

the slow downs in Forged Alliance come from the AI. You need to download a fan made AI (use Sorian AI for example). Simply search in the official GPG FA forum and you will find it.
Btw, there are already 2 versions of the mod. One for FA and one for original SC. Just search on the homepage.
But the SC version is old and will not be updated anymore. Its bugfree and works well, but new units and some FA stuff is missing and wont come to SC.

I think you are wrong.

The FA and SC version of the mod have nearly the same balancing only that the FA version is far more developed and has more units.
Dont get confused only because one mod is for SC and one for FA. We completely took the unit values and most scripts from the SC version to the FA version as a basic. Sure we also evolved from this starting point to a more stable, better balanced and more beautyful mod. We also have way better explosions now than you have in the SC version.

Also you need to put the range rings off. They are by default on so that you can see the range rings of all units. This eats a LOT of performance too.
