Description

The ICV-3 Pincer was the direct ancestor of the Bullfrog, an innovative mix of armoured personnel carrier and light tank with amphibious capablities. Obsolete thanks to it's underpowered weapons and thin armour, they are now used by reserve units or exported to other communist nations, such as North Vietnam, where the design has been copied and manufactured in machine shops across the nation.

In the jungles, Vietcong forces that have aquired Pincers do everything they can to increase their combat effectiveness. A common modification involves strapping a set of Katyusha rockets, left behind by retreating NVA forces, to the roof of the vehicle, turning it into a sort of jury-rigged artillery piece. Though this makes it impossible to transport infantry, it makes it into a devistating weapon, capable of lobbing a large number of rockets, then moving away by land or sea to dodge counterbattery fire. The twin 20mm guns means it can take on fend off ARVN scouts while doing so.
