Damn, I have the same old bug than earlier versions after 2.2 !no icon "splitstream" in the main menu, and worse, a complete white screen while playing.
This bug is happening from version 2.2, for which a dev made a patch (-mod TPOFv2.2.big,Patch3.big,MenuFIxAttempt3.big) which did work. Posted on this forum.
From that day, I haven't been able to update to a later version, so I'm still running 2.2 :(

Hi, I've got the issue, and unfortunatly the patch does nothing.
BTW, how can I be sure the patch was ever loaded by HW2 engine ?
I removed the patch file, and started the game normally with "-mod TPOFv2.5c.big,PATCH2.5.big" and the game said nothing at all, like "file not found" or something.
Is that normal ?
Ok here is my report :
My current computer (W2k, SP4, Geforce FX5700, forceware 93.71, 1Go RAM)
The bug is : the menu is very very slow, almost impossible to select an item. Using the -hardwareCursor helps a little.
But no white screen, just a menu very slow.
- Fix1 : KO, the menu is very very slow, almost impossible to use
- Fix2 : KO, same as 1
- Fix3 : OK, perfect. Menu quick and smooth.
- Fix4 : almost OK, seems a little more laggy than fix3
I keep patch nb3. I will try with another computer where I have the white screen pb, but next year :p
No pb, if you make a patch, I'll test it.
Hi all,
I've experienced the same pb than Ap07he0s1s.
The main menu is white.
But the game runs : music is there, and I was able to enter the menus by listening to the sound made by the mouse when rolling over menu items.
Blindly, I managed to find the menus (look on the left of the screen... :p)
Therefore, I was able to play :p
Great mod !
By the way, can I do something to help ? Any log file I can provide ?
Also, I tried different screen resolution, from 800x600 to 1600x1200, without any change.
I also made a new profile from scratch.
