Dr my experience is that only one unit can exit the gate at a time, and if you give a simultaneous command to more than one unit to exit a gate, the AI gets confused lining up who's going to go first. Best is to command ONE unit only to exit the gate, wait till it's at least half way out the gate, then command the next unit. Micromanagement, I know, but ... it will distinguish you as a superior office HAHA ! OR ... are you sure you haven't lost control of the gate? The flag near it has to belong to you. I've often ordered troops outside the fort and wondered where the heck they were going, till I realised I didn't control the gate nearest to where I wanted to go. Hope this helps. :)

Darth, I've been playing Shogun II intensively at Hard level Strategic Map and Full Battle Realism, of course with Darthmod activated. I've come to the conclusion that it all boils down to the money. If you get too much money too soon, the challenge disappears because you can afford everything. Now, you have the 'Income Boost' option. Can you tweak it to allow a selection of, say, grades of boost: 10% boost, 20% boost, etc. ? That would really allow me to micro-tweak the game by setting the exact money supply to achieve the ultimate competitive experience. NA ZHSIS MEGA DARTH MASTORA

At any rate, the 'board' button is grey, unavailable. Perhaps you could verify other players are experiencing the same. Take your time, I understand the latest upgrades have created big headaches. One observation: all installations fine, everything working fine, Rise of the Samurai, but I have a naval battle with 1 medium attendant ship and 2 light attendant ships against 4 attendant ships and a trade ship ... and the 'board' button is unavailable on all of my ships!
