Congrats on getting on Steam. Here's hoping for a sequel! :O)

Hadn't tried that, although I did download the standalone Royale version and that works fine. Hopefully the problem with launching it via Desura will be sorted soon. Only thing I need to figure out now is how to redeem the item codes you buy from the website with your 100 free coins!?!

I still can't believe that Steam turned this game down, especially considering some of the crap that seems to get through the vetting process of late.

Ok, I found that if you switch the version back to Demo, then start up the game you can unlock the full game by selecting the new user on the options menu. You have to enter your email address registered with Indie Royale and the 'in game items' code for the password. This will unlock the game, but it still lists it as the demo in your games list and if you select 'version' from the right click menu in the games list the demo version is checked and not the Royale version. If you change it to Royale you will get the cd key error again. Also when you next launch the game a window pops up asking if you want to run the demo or the Royale version. If you select the Royale version here you will also have the cd key problem. So not sure what is happening there exactly. Also don't forget to register your game in the My Zone area of the official website, using the same login info as used in game (ie. Indie Royale email address and the 'in game item' key.

If anyone knows what if anything to do with the Royale version and the 'cd key error' thing please let me know.

Got the same problem. Uninstalled and re-installed just incase, but still the same problem.
